Meet Ethan

Hi! My name is Ethan Pautsch. For the past few years, I have been building websites and helping businesses with their marketing campaigns and search engine optimization (SEO). I really enjoy working with local small businesses. This past summer, I interned at Wavoto. I build all of my websites on the Wavoto platform and was excited to help evolve the software.

I'm currently a Senior at Carl Sandburg High School (CSHS) in Orland Park, Illinois. I'm taking AP Computer Science Principles, AP Computer Science Programming in Java, and 4 more AP classes.

Technical Skills: Java, ASP.NET, C#, React Native, HTML, CSS, SEO, Unity, Blender, Photoshop
Certifications: CPR/AED, Scuba Diver, Advanced Scuba Diver, Nitrox Gas

In my free time, I have many hobbies...

Swim Team

I have been swimming almost as long as I have been walking, and have been competitively swimming since I was 9 years old. I have been on the CSHS Varsity swim team since freshman year and primarily swim freestyle and backstroke.

Lifeguarding

I've always loved swimming and scuba diving, so when I turned 16 and wanted to start working, becoming a lifeguard was the perfect fit. My town has a small aquatic park. The training was very long and intense even though I already had my CPR/AED certifications from scuba diving. This past summer I lifeguarded at Centennial Pool again.

Scuba Diving

When I turned 13 years old, my parents finally let me go through scuba training! That summer, I earned my Basic Scuba Diver and Advanced Scuba Diver certifications. The following summer, I earned my Nitrox gas certification. I am now working on my Rescue Diver certification.

Guitar

When I was 10 yrs old, I received a guitar and amp for Christmas. Yes, I did ask for it! I took one-on-one lessons at a local school for a few years and then joined a band. Aubrey was our lead singer, Matt played drums and I played guitar. The band members changed over the years and I eventually was the lead singer. We performed at several fests and local businesses. I'm no longer in a band, but still love playing every week.
